Q: Do you charge hourly rates?
A: Nope, I have packaged my services so that I can provide them to you in an inclusive way. No extra fees are added on for consultations, planning time, or donation drop-off. See session rates here.
Q: What do you consider to be “zones” when working in sections of the home?
A. I consider the following to be their own “zone” when working on projects. These are general guidelines. We will make a plan based on your space, how much “stuff,” and your overall goals.
-Kitchen AND pantry/kitchen overflow storage
-Laundry room AND linen/hallway closets (up to 2)
-Up to 2 kids/spare bedrooms AND 1 bathroom
-1 Primary bedroom AND 1 bathroom
-Home office OR Craft room
-Living room OR Family Room OR Playroom
-Dinning area AND entryway
-Garage
-Storage room
Q: Will I need to buy a bunch of products and organizing supplies?
A: I strive to work with what you already own. Much of the time, clients have purchased bins, baskets, and other containers to begin organizing in the past. We will make due with what we’ve got and then I will suggest supplies, if needed, after we’ve figured out what will work for your space.
Q: Will you clean my home as well?
A: I do a very light cleaning in our key focus areas, but I would be happy to help you find a cleaning service if you’d like to look into that.
Q: I am so embarrassed by my mess, should I tidy before you come over?
A: PLEASE don’t be embarrassed. I have seen it all and you’ll find a mess or several at my house too. It is actually very helpful when I can see the common obstacles you’ve been facing. Plus, I thoroughly enjoy what I do. You’d be taking away half the fun for me. 🙂
Q: What do you do with my personal information?
A: Given the sensitive nature of the work we will accomplish together you can be assured that I will keep your personal information just that – personal.
Q: Do you like animals?
A: I LOVE animals! However, I ask that you keep hyperactive or destructive pets at bay while we organize your treasured possessions.

Q: Can you help me if I’ll be moving?
A: Yes, definitely!
Each in-home session is 3 hours, so if you would like assistance with packing, I will help you pack during our sessions. However, I am also happy to help you find a packing service. The best use of our time would probably be the organization of the items to be packed and making arrangements for the move itself. Depending on what you’d like my assistance with, I’d be glad to connect you with packers, movers, home stagers, realtors, etc.
If you’re moving in, I quite enjoy fresh-start organizing in new spaces!
Q: What if I need to cancel our appointment?
A: Sessions are paid for up front when you schedule them. Therefore, if you need to reschedule, there is no cancelation/rescheduling fee. However, I do ask that you kindly give me notice by 12pm the day before our session, when possible, if you do need to change plans.
Q: What happens if YOU need to cancel a session?
A: If myself or my children are sick and contagious or I’m feeling so bad I can’t even drive, I will contact you to let you know that I’m not going to be able to make it and we will reschedule the session. I’ll probably apologize a thousand times … and then some.
And then apologize for apologizing.
Several times.
Q: How long do I have to use my sessions when I purchase a package?
A: Organization is a process that takes time. You may wish to spread your sessions out over several weeks or months. Because you have pre-purchased multiple sessions, you don’t need to worry about cancelation fees if you need to reschedule. However, I suggest using your sessions within 6-12 months so you don’t regress progress.
Q: What kinds of projects will you organize besides typical interior home type stuff?
A: I love organizing all kinds of things! Garden potting station, revamping filing system organization, small businesses (supply rooms, work stations for efficiency, creating spreadsheet templates and digital file organization), homeschooling – – ask and I’ll see if it’s feasible!
